About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize logistics, warehousing and trade operations
- Ensure seamless coordination and efficient movement of goods across global supply chain
- Lead a dedicated team of professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders
- Drive operational excellence, minimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Evaluate E2E logistics strategy and optimize operations, aligning with overall company objectives
- Proven track record of effective cost containment while increasing global sales, productivity, and cost controls
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor performance of operations
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement leveraging data analytics and best practices
- Implement initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and partners
- Support contract negotiations and monitor performance of suppliers/service providers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master degree in Logistics, Business Management, International Relations, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other relevant area.
- Postgraduate qualifications in business, supply chain management or similar is a plus.
- High energy, results-oriented leader with 10+ years of experience leading logistics services within world-class manufacturing, logistics or technology environments.
- Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Processes (with preference for Operations, Manufacturing and Logistics related ones).
- Proven knowledge and practice of all transportation modes, customs brokerage operations and 3PL/4PL operations.
- Track record in implementing best practice and building highly optimized trade and logistics operations.
- S/he must demonstrate commitment to excellence, have direct and cross-functional leadership ability, and apply sharp focus on responsibility and accountability.
