About the role
- Allocation of costs to cost centers / charge centers
- Preparation and revision of budget forecasts in collaboration with budget owners
- Monitoring of actuals; validation and allocation of internal and external costs; analysis of budget variances
- Account closing; reporting to budget owners
- Participate in financial and technical risk reviews and provide recommendations (contingencies, contract clauses, HSE and logistical mitigations)
- Supervise subcontractors responsible for estimating studies or surveys when required, and validate their deliverables
Requirements
- Technical higher education (engineering degree, BTS/DUT) with a specialization or experience in estimation/cost engineering
- Significant experience in estimation/costs in the Oil & Gas or industrial sector (ideally at least 5 years depending on the level of the position)
- Proficiency with estimating and analysis tools (advanced Excel, MTO, TBE); SAP knowledge highly appreciated
- Strong analytical skills, rigor in building estimates and attention to detail to identify hidden costs and financial risks
- Ability to work cross-functionally, good interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Professional proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
