About the role
- Design, analyze and manage offshore projects with clear reporting and strong teamwork
- Perform numerical simulations (finite element analysis, fatigue, stability) and interpret results to propose robust, optimized technical solutions
- Prepare and maintain technical deliverables: calculation notes, structural specifications, schematics, execution drawings, analysis reports and design packages
- Lead and coordinate studies with internal and external design offices, integration teams, suppliers and testing service providers (laboratories, tank tests, offshore campaigns)
- Contribute to the assessment of technical and operational risks, propose corrective actions and track technical non-conformities
- Monitor technical and regulatory developments in the offshore/subsea structures field; propose innovations or methodological improvements (material optimization, manufacturing processes, cathodic protection, coatings)
- Participate in project steering meetings, prepare presentations for technical committees and contribute to capturing lessons learned
Requirements
- Degree in structural/mechanical engineering or experience as a structural drafter; comfortable reading fabrication and construction drawings
- Strong interest in data management and analysis
- Experience: minimum 3–5 years in structural engineering, ideally on offshore/subsea projects (platforms, pipelines, risers, moorings/anchors, foundations)
- Experience in a design office or in technical project management is a plus
- Knowledge of Power BI is a key asset for reporting and data monitoring
- Rigorous, structured working style with good communication skills and regular interaction with project teams
- Excellent Excel skills; familiarity with VBA and Python expected
- Languages: professional French and English required for technical exchanges and international documentation
