About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with the Propositions Manager, Lead Product Owner and Implementations Leader on product strategy and roadmap for Digital Products
- Prioritise features based on business value and support realisation of software development benefits
- Act as a Product Owner and lead by example with Business Leaders, Technology and Implementations
- Collaborate with Product Owners and senior stakeholders to develop the vision and strategy for Pension Administration applications
- Lead Product Owners and Analysts through technical standards, Agile ways of working, problem solving and people leadership
- Define product strategy and prioritise roadmaps, including feature trade-offs
- Oversee application development roadmaps and the full product lifecycle for OneView, Contact Aptia Pensions and Mobile App
- Build a culture of ownership and delivery within the Product Owners and Implementation Analysts team
- Ensure deliverables meet quality criteria, deadlines and budget across the Product suite
- Lead customer deliveries, configuration and product support activities
- Define competency, KPI and performance reporting frameworks
- Develop team technical capability by identifying skills gaps, resource needs and learning opportunities
- Establish MI, controls, systems and tools for quality, accuracy, resourcing, capability and capacity management
- Collaborate with Product Engineering and other departments to resolve business-as-usual issues and deliver strategic improvements
- Manage stakeholders across multiple locations and departments
- Manage third-party supplier relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience within the Employee Benefits and/or Life & Pensions industries
- IT project management experience
- Proven track record of building and maintaining internal relationships across departments and countries
- Technical development experience with a proven track record of delivery and exceeding business objectives
- Experience working in a commercial environment undergoing major change
- Proven track record of prioritising resources and workload to achieve critical deadlines and business priorities
- Experience leading and managing teams across multiple sites
- Experience working with offshore teams and third-party suppliers
- Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution
- Proven track record of senior stakeholder management
