About the role

  • Help clients maximize their opportunities as part of Aprio's Corporate Development team.
  • Actively source deals, maintain relationships with venture capital firms, founders, and advisors.
  • Play a critical role in coordinating investment activities.
  • Contribute significantly to the growth of Aprio Ventures’ brand through events, conferences, and thought leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with VC investment teams.
  • Represent Aprio Ventures at conferences, industry events, and ecosystem gatherings.
  • Actively identify, source, and evaluate new investment opportunities.
  • Support planning, preparation, and execution of Aprio Ventures’ Investor Day.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in venture capital, startup operations, private equity, or a related high-growth environment preferred.
  • Strong networking instincts and ability to build authentic, long-term relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to evaluate early-stage companies.
  • High energy level, proactive approach, and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
