About the role
- Help clients maximize their opportunities as part of Aprio's Corporate Development team.
- Actively source deals, maintain relationships with venture capital firms, founders, and advisors.
- Play a critical role in coordinating investment activities.
- Contribute significantly to the growth of Aprio Ventures’ brand through events, conferences, and thought leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with VC investment teams.
- Represent Aprio Ventures at conferences, industry events, and ecosystem gatherings.
- Actively identify, source, and evaluate new investment opportunities.
- Support planning, preparation, and execution of Aprio Ventures’ Investor Day.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in venture capital, startup operations, private equity, or a related high-growth environment preferred.
- Strong networking instincts and ability to build authentic, long-term relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to evaluate early-stage companies.
- High energy level, proactive approach, and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
