About the role
- Must be willing to do the work, build /refine templates, and institute repeatable processes to allow the Company to efficiently diligence M&A targets at scale.
- Oversee a small team of exceptional individuals that can work well under pressure and tight timelines.
- Provide technical financial and accounting due diligence services on the Company’s acquisition targets.
- Efficiently perform complex analyses, including analysis of cash flows, quality of earnings, operating and profitability trends, working capital and identification of potential liabilities and risks.
- Review financial-related aspects of purchase agreements alongside internal and external legal counsel to ensure key financial due diligence findings are appropriately represented.
- Work cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders and workstreams as it relates to financial impacts of diligence findings, including Integration, HR, Operations, IT, and others.
- Serve as liaison between Corporate Development and Finance team as it relates to acquired firm financials and historical performance.
- Actively manage multiple engagements at a time.
Requirements
- CPA and knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Master’s degree in accounting (with an accounting undergraduate degree).
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the transaction advisory services practice.
- Team player with exceptional communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and triage incoming engagement as necessary.
- Must be able to travel based on business needs.
