QA Tester – Web Application
APRIL AsiaQA Tester managing web application testing for APRIL International, focusing on insurance products. Collaborating with international teams to ensure quality and accuracy before product releases.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Test migrated and newly implemented insurance products prior to release
- Design, execute, and document end-to-end test scenarios and test campaigns
- Validate product behaviour, business rules, and data accuracy across different markets
- Identify, document, and track issues through to resolution
- Participate in project workshops, testing phases, and go-live activities
- Support the adoption and continuous improvement of test automation tools
- Contribute to enhancing testing standards, methodologies, and operational processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of experience in Operations, ideally within health insurance or related services
- Good understanding of insurance products and business processes
- Experience working with policy administration, claims management, or similar operational systems is a plus
- Comfortable working in project environments involving business, operations, and IT stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with international and cross-functional teams
- Hands-on experience with manual testing, defect tracking, and test documentation
- Familiarity with test automation tools and an interest in supporting automated testing initiatives
- Experience with NIS (Nordic) insurance software is a plus
- International study or work experience.
- Knowledge of Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies
