About the role
- Develop backend applications using Rails and Node.js
- Maintain and extend existing systems, scaling them for growth
- Think in infrastructure: containers, Kubernetes, cloud (AWS/GCP)
- Take ownership: operations, monitoring & DevOps are part of your role
- Drive code quality: tests, CI, and monitoring are integral to your workflow
- Work in processes built by developers for developers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Some experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of OOP and MVC frameworks
- Critical thinker: you test new approaches, question hype, and favor sustainable, high-quality solutions
- Communication: fluent in German and English.
