Senior Business Consultant – Strategic Accounts

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own strategic accounts commercially and operationally from the business side.
- Manage and grow strategic pharma and biotech accounts.
- Build long-term client relationships across multiple stakeholders.
- Lead commercial conversations and continuation processes.
- Drive renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Create and execute account growth strategies and execution plans.
- Own revenue targets within assigned accounts.
- Manage forecasting and commercial pipeline visibility.
- Identify white-space opportunities across organizations.
- Lead account expansion initiatives.
- Support pricing and commercial negotiations.
- Work directly with executives, procurement, clinical, platform, and AI/data science stakeholders.
- Lead difficult conversations when needed.
- Ensure risks and delivery concerns are surfaced transparently.
- Drive alignment between commercial goals and delivery realities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts
- Experience in consulting, technology, data, AI, or software services environments
- Track record of growing accounts commercially - renewals, upsells, expansions
- Strong ownership mentality
- Ability to manage executive-level conversations
- Experience handling commercial negotiations
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
