Develop and implement a long-term strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Lead business development, sales, and account management of active and prospective employer partners in both regional territories as well as nationwide as needed.
Generate a sales funnel to identify and cultivate corporate hiring partners for the purpose of securing apprenticeship opportunities.
Outreach and deliver presentations on behalf of the program to recruit employers, generate awareness, and increase publicity within the business community.
Work with and communicate at senior levels of organizations to gain program support from employers.
Deliver employer commitments and required hiring documentation to reach stated objectives.
Coordinate with other Regional Directors around strategy, implementation, and relationship management of national accounts.
Engage with fellow Directors to share sales and business development best practices.
Adhere with record keeping requirements and follow the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization.
Collaborate and communicate with all other functions at Apprenti to facilitate the flawless delivery of our product and maximize the customer experience.
Participate in internal cross-functional account management meetings.
Requirements
BA or equivalent relevant experience.
10+ years of experience in business development with a strong track record of meeting aggressive objectives; or equivalent combination of education & experience.
Demonstrated success in business development, sales, and key account management with comfort presenting to senior level professionals.
Experience with talent acquisition and tech sector a strong plus.
Experience working with, and gaining support from, multiple stakeholders including government, education, and private sector.
Proficient using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information technology systems; strong working knowledge of Salesforce strongly preferred.
Experience working with high-performing, collaborative, and constructive peer group and stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
