Key responsibilities & impact

Interpret system level customer and functional requirements to define, design, & develop cost effective hardware solutions
Lead, develop, and execute moderately complex design projects
Interface with multiple design and manufacturing engineering disciplines
Research and development of new technologies
Work with Design Team, Marketing, & Legal to ensure proposed solutions meet market requirements
Lead small design teams to design and develop automation hardware solutions
Own and execute the detailed design of vacuum system components, modules, & systems
Problem identification and troubleshooting of complex engineering problems
Support System Integration & Manufacturing during assembly and testing
Work with vendors to develop new competitive products
Provide remote and onsite support to field support personnel

Requirements

4-7 years of related experience
Working experience with CAD software
