About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the key interface between Applied Materials and customers
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex semiconductor systems
- Ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction
- Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment
- Diagnose technical issues using analytical tools and standard diagnostic techniques
- Respond to equipment issues and support escalation processes with cross-functional teams
- Follow standard procedures, safety guidelines, and engineering best practices
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related fields)
- Strong interest in hands-on technical work. No prior semiconductor experience required — training will be provided
- Problem-solving mindset with troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in English required; Mandarin is a plus and preferred
- Flexibility to support shift schedules (including night shifts / weekends / on-call)
- Willingness to work in a semiconductor fab environment
- Willingness to relocate and work in Taiwan
