About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support service should cost models and CoO (Cost of Ownership) modeling for SBU/Marketing teams
- Compare should cost versus actuals, identify variances, and present findings to management
- Manage portfolio programs, including ROI calculations and ongoing performance tracking
- Automate recurring reports, such as spend management, using relevant data visualization and extraction tools
- Document use cases, workflows, and methodologies for data analysis to ensure transparency and reproducibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract, map, and interpret company-specific data, including tools, tool counts, tool types, regions, and accounts
- Utilize Jira for project management and workflow tracking related to data initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a high-tech or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Tableau and PowerBI for data visualization and report automation
- Strong expertise in SQL for querying and managing databases
- Experience with Databricks for advanced analytics and large-scale data processing
- Working knowledge of Jira for project management and workflow documentation
- Familiarity with Applied Materials data mapping, including tools, tool counts, tool types, regions, and accounts
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex datasets for financial modeling and operational analysis
