About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a team of sales reps while developing and maintaining your own account base.
  • Responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization.
  • Establish sales targets, develop strategic plans, analyze performance metrics.
  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies to meet or exceed quotas.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong leadership, negotiation skills and results driven.
  • Proven experience as a field sales representative.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor sales staff, providing coaching to improve performance.
  • Create and implement sales strategies, quotas, and goals to expand the customer base in the assigned district.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing Sales teams, vendor engagement-cross functional.
  • Technical capacity/mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in flow control industry: pumps, instrumentation with a solid working knowledge of valves and valve automation.
  • Business acumen and strategic approach.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • Experience in Outside Sales/Account Manager/Territory Manager role within the industrial or flow control marketplace required.
  • Background in Sales Management role preferred; demonstrated ability to manage diverse sales teams.
  • Background in P & L is helpful.
