About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Working closely with the Sales staff to develop and drive sales to the Panel Shop
Managing our in-house Control Panel Shop
Providing field support over the phone and occasionally out in field
Instructing and working with our Panel Shop Technicians in the fabrication of our control panels
Procuring all the components used in the Panel Shop

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ yrs in the Design and Fabrication of Industrial Control Panels
Equivalent to B.S. in Engineering or comparable design experience
Ability to design and draft small control systems using AutoAD Electrical including Schematics, Panel Layouts, Bill of Materials, Special Details, etc.
Ability to specify all the components of the control panel
Knowledge of how to program PLC's and HMI's
Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD's) in motor control applications and knowledge of VFD programming and testing
Experienced in factory testing of controls and control panels
Familiarity with the UL508A standard for Control Panels as panels are designed and tested to these standards
Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Knowledge of SAP would be a plus, but is not required.
