About the role

  • Assist sales force with technical expertise for the design of fluid power systems
  • Prepare schematics, test procedures, and recommend components
  • Provide integral project management for fluid power systems
  • Develop control scheme estimate quotes based on customer/salesmen descriptions
  • Select appropriate electrical components for applications
  • Develop full electrical project schematics and component BOM
  • Develop panel layouts and programming of PLC’s and HMI’s
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues via phone, e-mail and on-site

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, Electrical preferred
  • Working knowledge of CAD
  • Ability to read / understand technical drawings
  • Fluid Power Industry experience is a plus
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems
  • Organization skills, detailed oriented and written communication skills
  • PC proficiency with Word, Excel and other Office application
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
