About the role
- Assist sales force with technical expertise for the design of fluid power systems
- Prepare schematics, test procedures, and recommend components
- Provide integral project management for fluid power systems
- Develop control scheme estimate quotes based on customer/salesmen descriptions
- Select appropriate electrical components for applications
- Develop full electrical project schematics and component BOM
- Develop panel layouts and programming of PLC’s and HMI’s
- Troubleshoot electrical issues via phone, e-mail and on-site
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, Electrical preferred
- Working knowledge of CAD
- Ability to read / understand technical drawings
- Fluid Power Industry experience is a plus
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems
- Organization skills, detailed oriented and written communication skills
- PC proficiency with Word, Excel and other Office application
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
