About the role
- Confer with customers and factory representatives to assess equipment needs based on application requirements.
- Achieve sales and profit goals by developing existing customers, opening new business, and customer retention.
- Conduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services.
- Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactions.
Requirements
- Experience with preparing quotes and proposals, negotiate terms, and close transactions.
- Industrial Outside sales experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proven experience maintaining existing customer base while developing new business.
- Knowledge of the practical application of pumps-valves, electronic controls, instrumentation hoses- fittings-hydraulics, pneumatics is a bonus-but we will train!
