About the role

  • Confer with customers and factory representatives to assess equipment needs based on application requirements.
  • Achieve sales and profit goals by developing existing customers, opening new business, and customer retention.
  • Conduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactions.

Requirements

  • Experience with preparing quotes and proposals, negotiate terms, and close transactions.
  • Industrial Outside sales experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proven experience maintaining existing customer base while developing new business.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of pumps-valves, electronic controls, instrumentation hoses- fittings-hydraulics, pneumatics is a bonus-but we will train!
