About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement and maintain Signal Energy’s cybersecurity program, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Operationalize execution of cybersecurity initiatives aligned with recognized frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS).
- Coordinate and track cybersecurity program activities, milestones, and deliverables.
- Oversee and coordinate security operations activities, including vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring.
- Manage 3rd party vendors providing cybersecurity services and supporting the cybersecurity program.
- Partner with IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, and Digital Product teams to embed security into systems and workflows.
- Support identity and access management governance, including access reviews and role-based access controls.
- Manage cybersecurity risk assessments, control testing, and remediation tracking.
- Support audit activities, including control validation and evidence collection.
- Drive vendor risk management and third-party security assessments.
- Contribute to security awareness, training, and communication efforts across the organization.
- Maintain cybersecurity documentation, metrics, and executive-ready reporting.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk roles
- Experience supporting or implementing enterprise cybersecurity programs and controls
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001
- Basic to intermediate technical understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, identity management, and endpoint security
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to non-technical audiences
- Exposure to environments leveraging Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint protection platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike), vulnerability management tools, and SIEM technologies.
