About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement and maintain Signal Energy’s cybersecurity program, policies, standards, and procedures.
Operationalize execution of cybersecurity initiatives aligned with recognized frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS).
Coordinate and track cybersecurity program activities, milestones, and deliverables.
Oversee and coordinate security operations activities, including vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring.
Manage 3rd party vendors providing cybersecurity services and supporting the cybersecurity program.
Partner with IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, and Digital Product teams to embed security into systems and workflows.
Support identity and access management governance, including access reviews and role-based access controls.
Manage cybersecurity risk assessments, control testing, and remediation tracking.
Support audit activities, including control validation and evidence collection.
Drive vendor risk management and third-party security assessments.
Contribute to security awareness, training, and communication efforts across the organization.
Maintain cybersecurity documentation, metrics, and executive-ready reporting.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk roles
Experience supporting or implementing enterprise cybersecurity programs and controls
Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001
Basic to intermediate technical understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, identity management, and endpoint security
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to non-technical audiences
Exposure to environments leveraging Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint protection platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike), vulnerability management tools, and SIEM technologies.
