About the role
- Lead a team of engineers and drafters for substation engineering design projects
- Conduct calculations and create reports for AC and DC systems
- Develop control panel layouts and wiring diagrams
- Coordinate design with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Ensure all engineering documents and records are maintained
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Power Engineering
- 5+ Years’ Experience in Design of Transmission Level Substations (13.8kV – 500 kV)
- Minimum of 3 years of application experience with SEL, GE, etc. relays
- Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, IEEE and other applicable codes and standards
- Skilled in engineering theories and principles
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD (2015 or later)
