About the role
- Performing load flow study, short circuit study, protection coordination study, and arc flash study for electrical power systems.
- Collaborating with a team of engineers to support substation protection and control system design.
- Developing models in software and performing studies related to substations.
- Creation of engineering specifications and materials procurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering - required
- Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Power Engineering - preferred
- 5+ Years’ Experience in Design of Transmission Level Substations (13.8kV – 500 kV)
- Minimum of 5 years of application experience with SEL, GE, etc. relays.
- Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, IEEE and other applicable codes and standards.
- Skilled in engineering theories and principles.
- Must be fluent in English.
