About the role

  • Performing load flow study, short circuit study, protection coordination study, and arc flash study for electrical power systems.
  • Collaborating with a team of engineers to support substation protection and control system design.
  • Developing models in software and performing studies related to substations.
  • Creation of engineering specifications and materials procurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering - required
  • Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Power Engineering - preferred
  • 5+ Years’ Experience in Design of Transmission Level Substations (13.8kV – 500 kV)
  • Minimum of 5 years of application experience with SEL, GE, etc. relays.
  • Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, IEEE and other applicable codes and standards.
  • Skilled in engineering theories and principles.
  • Must be fluent in English.
