Designer

• Create and revise design drawings of high voltage transmission and distribution substations including: Substation general arrangement plans and elevations. Assembly drawings and details. Conduit plans and details. Grounding plans and details. Control enclosure plans, elevations, and details. Bills of materials. Lighting Plans Lightning Protection Plans
• Peer review of other’s drawings.
• Maintain drawing files – archived, current and working revisions.
• Update drawings to field as-built conditions.
• Teach and mentor young designers and/or new employees on physical design and company practices.
• Participate in the development and review of company standards and design tools to optimize design applications.
• Provide project support/office support as required.
• Occasional travel to field sites or working at a client’s office may be required.
