About the role

  • Focus 80%+ of your time on outbound calls and emails to engage SMB prospects.
  • Represent Applause with integrity, passion, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the product’s features and benefits.
  • Help cold prospects understand the value of Applause software, building awareness and interest.
  • Set qualified demos for interested SMB prospects to meet with AEs, facilitating pipeline growth.
  • Call trade show attendees, encourage booth visits, and follow up to nurture leads.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience in outbound B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding SDR quotas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage SMB decision-makers effectively.
  • Familiarity with using sales CRMs (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) to manage prospecting and pipeline activities.
  • Comfortable making 200+ outbound calls per day in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance high activity levels with effective follow-ups.
  • Proven ability to work in a remote environment with excellent time management, a reliable internet connection, and zero noticeable latency.
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift within the hours of 7 AM – 7 PM EST to support client needs and outreach strategies.
