About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Listen to audio recordings and create accurate written transcripts of what is spoken.
Transcribe audio recordings into text with high accuracy.
Capture speech exactly as spoken, including pauses, filler words (e.g., "uh," "um"), repetitions, and incomplete sentences.
Add timestamps to match the audio.
Identify and label different speakers in conversations.
Mark non-speech events such as laughter, background noise, or unclear audio.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent knowledge of and familiarity with spelling conventions in Haitian Creole language.
Can be located anywhere, but must be fluent in Haiti dialect.
Good reading comprehension skills in English.
Stable internet connection.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to review examples and apply rules to the provided data.
Prior experience with transcription.
Prior experience with audio data.
Access to a PC/laptop or an iPad.
