Transcription Specialist – Bengali, India

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review audio files and transcribe spoken content accurately
- Refine transcripts to ensure high-quality data
- Listen to audio recordings and create accurate written transcripts
- Capturing speech exactly as spoken, including pauses, filler words, repetitions, and incomplete sentences
- Adding timestamps to match the audio
- Identifying and labeling different speakers in conversations
- Marking non-speech events such as laughter, background noise, or unclear audio
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent knowledge of and familiarity with spelling conventions in Bengali language.
- Can be located anywhere, but must be fluent in Indian dialect.
- Good reading comprehension skills in English.
- Stable internet connection.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to review examples and apply rules to the provided data.
- Prior experience with transcription.
- Prior experience with audio data.
- Access to a PC/laptop or an iPad.
