About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join us as a Transcription Specialist and contribute to improving AI-driven speech recognition.
- You will review audio files, transcribe spoken content accurately, and refine transcripts to ensure high-quality data that supports the development of advanced language models.
- Your role in this project is to listen to audio recordings and create accurate written transcripts of what is spoken.
- These transcripts will help improve AI-powered speech recognition systems.
- Your responsibilities may include transcribing audio recordings into text with high accuracy, capturing speech exactly as spoken, including pauses, filler words, repetitions, and incomplete sentences, adding timestamps to match the audio, identifying and labeling different speakers in conversations, and marking non-speech events such as laughter, background noise, or unclear audio.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent knowledge of and familiarity with spelling conventions in Portuguese language.
- Can be located anywhere, but must be fluent in Brazil dialect.
- Good reading comprehension skills in English.
- Stable internet connection.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to review examples and apply rules to the provided data.
- Prior experience with transcription.
- Prior experience with audio data.
- Access to a PC/laptop or an iPad.
