• Facilitate engaging training experiences
• Lead and co-facilitate pre-designed trainings for staff and volunteers, both virtually and in person
• Create a welcoming, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and connection
• Support a variety of training formats including workshops, discussions, and applied learning experiences
• Document the current state of outdoor leadership training
• Partner with Chapter Volunteer Communities to map how volunteers grow into leadership roles, capturing key experiences, supports, and transitions along the way.
• Gather insights through conversations, observations, and existing materials
• Help build a shared understanding of training & leader engagement practices across chapters
• Track participation and support continuous improvement
• Collect attendance, feedback, and engagement data from training sessions
• Maintain organized records of training activity and outcomes
• Be a connector across teams and communities
• Build relationships with staff, volunteers, and chapter leaders
• Respond to questions and support participants throughout the training experience
• Contribute to a positive, people-centered learning culture across AMC

• Own the evolution of our website platform.
• Manage day-to-day operations, security, and performance.
• Stabilize and optimize current WordPress environment.
• Design a future-state architecture that delivers seamless experiences.
• Partner closely with Salesforce, Data, and Marketing teams for reliable digital experiences.
• Improve performance (caching, CDN optimization).
• Strengthen security posture and access controls.
• Improve CI/CD and environment promotion processes.
• Ensure integration reliability with Salesforce, Shopify, booking systems.
• Create a unified digital experience with a headless CMS future state.
• Lead technical evaluations of CMS replacement options.
• Define content modeling and structured metadata strategy.

Lead Web Platform Engineer

Product Manager

• Lead product strategy and execution across AMC’s highest-priority technology streams: Member and donor experience, lodging and hospitality technology, volunteer and community systems, and data/reporting integrations.
• Own and refine AMC’s product roadmap, organizing work around measurable mission and business outcomes.
• Translate AMC’s technology roadmap into clear priorities, sequencing, tradeoffs, risks, and decisions.
• Convert business and user needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, success metrics, and launch plans.
• Establish practical product practices for intake, prioritization, backlog ownership, sprint readiness, stakeholder review, release planning, and adoption measurement.
• Lead product reviews with senior leaders, clearly communicating progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions needed.
• Partner with technology leaders, implementation partners, business stakeholders, and frontline users to ensure work is valuable, feasible, adopted, and measurable.
• Coach product managers or product owners and set a standard for transparent prioritization and disciplined delivery.
