About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, integrate, and translate market research insights into opportunities and strategies for the US business
- Lead US pipeline strategy, including product identification and selection
- Monitor and evaluate brand products and projections to identify early-stage, first-to-file candidates and lifecycle management strategies
- Oversee pipeline financial and demand forecasts, risk and opportunity scenarios, and go/no-go strategies
- Lead pre-launch market research initiatives and deliver insights supporting financial forecasts and commercial strategy
- Lead commercial evaluation of external business development opportunities, including market sizing, competitive landscape, pricing, and access considerations
- Develop financial models to assess asset value and inform deal negotiations
- Synthesize Regulatory, Legal, R&D, and Finance inputs into executive recommendations
- Identify risks, sensitivities, and value drivers for investment decisions and portfolio prioritization
- Lead US Portfolio team initiatives, forecast matrix assumption alignment, and data/technology improvement projects
- Drive forecast methodologies, analytics, and reporting to improve pipeline transparency
- Identify acquisition assets and align commercial, BD, and Global Portfolio stakeholders on strategy, deal management, and execution
- Support corporate market assessment data needs for executive leadership, Finance, and Investor Relations
- Serve as key contact for databases including IQVIA, IPDAnalytics, AlphaSense, and DataMonitor
- Lead strategic projects and initiatives that drive portfolio value
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, regulations, Code of Conduct, ethics, quality, environmental, HR, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with or create detailed presentations
- Manage 3+ direct reports and serve as local lead for Global Business Support and corporate employees
- Recruit, train, develop, and manage direct-report performance, development, retention, and succession planning

Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as a people leader
- Prior generic pharmaceutical experience evaluating products, forecasting, and product selection
- Extensive knowledge across multiple segments of the generic market
- Experience designing and implementing go-to-market strategies
- Experience managing market research projects
- Knowledge of regulatory pathways, product development, and intellectual property landscape
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Strategic thinking ability and strong data-mining skills
- Strong quantitative, qualitative, analytical reasoning, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
