About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the entire Scientific Application Portfolio including Computer System Validation
  • Work with GIS and Business Leadership to develop a global Digital Strategy
  • Drive the development and adoption of digital leadership capability throughout the organization
  • Provide global strategy and leadership on solutions that are practical and scalable
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining the global vision, strategy, and program
  • Oversee and direct efforts in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining processes
  • Develop and drive global enterprise applications delivery teams to improve speed of delivery
  • Develop and oversee global compliance programs governing vendor qualification
  • Manage relationships with major vendors and service providers
  • Act as an Agile Champion by establishing high-performing teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or equivalent
  • 10+ years as a Senior Manager/Director within an IT environment
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in governance, IT and GXP controls
  • Demonstrated experience providing global leadership
  • Demonstrated experience working with large enterprise systems for both IT and OT.
  • Strong Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS), Chromatography, and Quality Management Systems (QMS) skills.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making and communication skills
  • Experience with managing virtual teams
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian, US and EU regulatory guidelines
