About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the staff and operations within Analytical Development responsible for all mass‑spectrometry–based studies
  • Oversee all LC‑MS and GC-MS projects ensuring scientific excellence and regulatory compliance
  • Provide technical leadership to scientists and senior chemists
  • Guide team in conducting complex investigations
  • Consult with other departments on MS-related challenges
  • Approve structure‑elucidation and investigation reports based on mass spectrometry

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in scientific discipline, especially Organic Chemistry or Analytic Chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences
  • Strong theoretical background in analytical chemistry and organic chemistry
  • Expert knowledge of mass spectroscopy and chromatography
  • In-depth knowledge of analytical method development and validation
  • Advance knowledge of peptide analysis by mass spectrometry
  • Advance knowledge of analytical instrumentation including HPLC, LC-MS and GC-MS
  • In depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines (FDA, TPD, ICH etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Leadership and management skills demonstrated in previous supervisory/management roles
