About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for recruiting, leading, and developing sales team in a geographic territory
  • Ensuring financial goals of the organization are met or exceeded
  • Directly leads Independent and Direct Sales Reps on the team
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance
  • Coach, mentor, and develop an effective and efficient sales team to improve their effectiveness
  • Manage business development activities for the region including identifying prospective customers
  • Develop and implement plans to improve market share, positioning, and increase sales and profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA in Marketing, Business Management/Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the commercial fenestration industry with solid technical understanding of storefront and curtainwall and window systems and applications or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of sales management experience, or related management experience
  • Minimum 3 years background in architectural promotion and training, preferred
  • Basic understanding of construction documents, details, sketches and design technical manuals
  • Prefer CDT accreditation with the Construction Specifications Institute
  • Valid driver’s license, without restrictions, to meet extensive travel requirements
