About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Architectural Sales Representative is responsible for driving profitable growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening customer relationships across an assigned territory while supporting multiple Architectural Metals brands and solutions.
  • This role partners closely with architects, glazing contractors, general contractors, distributors, owners, and other key influencers throughout the project lifecycle to position Architectural Metals products and services early in the design and specification process.
  • This position plays a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, supporting strategic accounts, influencing specifications, and delivering a strong customer experience through collaboration with internal engineering, estimating, operations, and customer support teams.
  • Work with Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute territory plans aligned with regional growth objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue project opportunities and leads across assigned markets and customer segments.
  • Drive specification activity and increase brand presence within the architectural and construction community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, owners, glazing contractors, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Support customer issue resolution and ensure a high level of responsiveness and follow-through.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of sales, specification, architectural, construction, or related building products experience preferred
  • Experiences within glazing, fenestration, aluminum systems, architectural products, or commercial construction environments strongly preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong business acumen and customer focus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
