About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee collecting and analyzing data
- Participate in collecting data requirements
- Develop elements of program acquisition strategies
- Support and conduct portions of market research
- Keep program information current and organize data for management decision-making
- Prepare reports and briefings on program status, policies, and procedures in support of acquisition milestones
- Determine requirements and develop goals and objectives to accomplish the mission
- Support government counterparts in executing programs according to plans and modifying policies and procedures based on regulatory changes
- Research ways to eliminate program bottlenecks and barriers to production and support solutions to program issues
- Oversee resource allocation based on program requirements
- Analyze program effectiveness and efficiency and develop recommendations to improve operations
- Answer data calls and inquiries on program policies and procedures
- Participate in requirements development for senior managers and government counterparts
- Monitor programs for compliance with policies and procedures
- Manage program cost, schedule, performance, and risks; formulate mitigations as necessary
- Coordinate program information with personnel
- Interpret regulations and directives to determine program impact
- Maintain broad understanding of the assigned acquisition program
- Develop acquisition documentation, funding strategies, spend plans, Congressional briefs, inter-department and agency funding transfers, and other program deliverables
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess and maintain TS w/SCI eligibility
- DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency (DAWIA Level II equivalent) in Program Management, or ability to attain it within 6 months of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, business, or related field
- Minimum 10 years working on federal government acquisition projects
- 10 years of software capability management expertise in USSOCOM operations
- 3 years working in the Intelligence arena
- 3 years supporting software-intensive Program Management and/or DoD data management
