About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as on-site programmer SME proficient in Python, C++, and Visual Basic for CWMD and nuclear-effects modeling.
Develop and implement models of complex systems representing chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear agent effects and attributes.
Model environmental and situational variables (e.g., weather, temperature, temporal degradation) and overlay effects on air operations.
Integrate scientific data, test results, and operational parameters into modeling code and simulations.
Simulate agent behavior over time, including degradation and persistence, to assess effects.
Assess impacts on sortie generation, timing, and flow to characterize operational risk and environment.
Produce analyses, visualizations, and decision-support products for operational planning and stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a US citizen
Must have and be able to maintain TS/SCI level clearance
Bachelor's degree
Twenty-five (25) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, including fifteen (15) years of DoD experience
Proficiency in Python, C++, and Visual Basic programming languages
Ability to model complex systems with chemical, biological, radiological, and/or nuclear agent effects
Ability to incorporate scientific data and testing results into programs
Ability to characterize risk and environmental factors
