About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for training active-duty personnel for qualification/certification as a Technical Controller 1
- Setting, up, operating, and/or troubleshooting the following E-4B aircraft systems: Air cooling systems, Liquid cooling systems (LCS), AC & DC power system panels, Alarm central panels, Equipment rack cooling panels, Smoke detection panel, Uninterruptable power supply panel, Internal communication system
- Continuously monitoring systems to detect and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions
- Performing routine maintenance and checks, troubleshooting, and applying corrective actions on equipment ensuring operational readiness
- Executing airborne missions by providing reliable communication support to military and civilian leadership during all phases of nuclear and non-nuclear conflict or natural disasters
- Support requirements: Work closely with existing Government workforce to provide expertise in identifying system shortfalls
- Assist in refining, enhancing, and improving system modernization processes
- Assist the Government in requirements definition, organization, prioritization for funding analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US citizen
- Active Top Secret with SCI, NC2-ESI
- FAA Third Class or Military Class III Flight Physical
- valid US Driver’s License
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7 or more years of E-4B Flight experience as E-4B Technical Controller 1 - Instructor
