About the role
- Assist in managing security classification processes within SOF AT&L
- Support the SOF AT&L Acquisition Security Directorate with the management of SOF AT&L-managed security classification guides
- Provide subject matter expertise to SOF AT&L Program Managers in drafting Security Classification Guides (SCGs)
- Facilitate classification management of programs and ensure compliance with DoD and US SOCOM regulations
- Collaborate with government and industry stakeholders to enhance security measures and contribute to mission-driven objectives
- Provide deep knowledge of SCG development, management, and application processes
- Draft, review, and edit Security Classification Guides in collaboration with program managers
- Work on-site at MacDill AFB, FL; travel as required (approximately 10%)
Requirements
- Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Years of Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in program security
- Comprehensive understanding of Department of Defense and US Special Operations Command security regulations and policies
- Expertise in classification management for defense and special operations programs
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and editing Security Classification Guides (SCGs) in collaboration with program managers
- In-depth knowledge of SCG development, management, and application processes
- Willingness to work on-site at MacDill AFB, FL
- Travel: up to 10%
