About the role
- Oversees allocation of resources based on program requirements
- Direct support to PM-level Lead for FM commodity area (Senior Finance Specialist) and Deputy Program Manager (DPM)
- Composes, staffs, and tracks FM worksheets, budget exhibits, spend plans, and other required instruments per PEO/PM BFM policy and SOP
- Review investment and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) budget data for technical and mathematical accuracy, format, adequacy of supporting narrative, and conformance with budgetary policy and guidelines
- Continually monitor expenditures relative to planned execution levels
- Develop cost‑benefit analyses of proposed budgetary and program actions and advise Comptroller staff on the most advantageous courses of action
Requirements
- Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
- Clearance: Must maintain a Secret clearance
- Certifications: DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency IAW the PWS (DAWIA level II equivalent)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or an Associate’s degree plus four additional years of experience.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in DoD Acquisition Financial Execution;
- Knowledge of program planning, scheduling, budget planning/formulation, and cost analysis
- Experience with automated tools.
- Working experience in ABSS, DEAMS, MOCAS, and PBAS (Preferred).
