About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the technical architecture in the retail media environment (MarTech, AdTech)
  • Lead a team
  • Manage DSP and SPA tools
  • Coordinate implementations with internal IT (frontend and backend)
  • Technical point of contact for all retail-media-relevant systems
  • Evaluate and recommend external tech partners and tools (SSP, SPA engine, CDP)
  • Responsible for web tracking architecture and consent management
  • Define requirements for IT resources and monitor implementation
  • Interface between the business (Head of Retail Media) and technology (IT/Engineering)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in a technical lead role within the MarTech/AdTech environment
  • Solid knowledge of tracking architectures, consent management, and SSP/CDP landscapes
  • Experience managing IT projects and external technology partners
  • Structured, solution-oriented working style with strong technical attention to detail
  • Very good German and English skills
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical lead role within the MarTech/AdTech environment
  • Experience implementing at least one SSP or ad server integration from scratch
  • Proven project experience with consent management platforms (CMP) under GDPR/TTDSG
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing CDP solutions
