Junior Product Manager
APIVITA SAJunior Product Manager responsible for developing and managing cosmetics products at APIVITA. Collaborating cross-functionally to align with brand strategy and regulatory compliance.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- - Develops new products from concept to launch, ensuring full compliance with EU regulations, internal procedures, and brand philosophy. Coordinates and monitors the entire New Product Development (NPD) process, acting as project manager to ensure timely launches while collaborating closely with R&D, Packaging, Regulatory and Supply teams throughout the development process
- - Coordinates and collaborates cross-functionally with all departments to execute marketing plans and develop communication materials in line with the marketing calendar, approved budget, and agreed timelines.
- - Manages and maintains the existing product portfolio under his/her responsibility, ensuring products remain up to date with regulatory requirements, business needs, and brand standards through artwork revisions, packaging updates, formula adaptations, and continuous product improvement initiatives
- - Acquires and maintains a 360° understanding of the brand strategy and philosophy, product attributes within assigned categories, key competitors, and market trends. Conducts competitive analyses, performs market visits, and monitors category performance and sales to support product strategy
- - Prepares and delivers impactful presentations to support product launches and key business reviews. Acts as a Brand Ambassador, consistently representing and promoting the brand values and philosophy across all activities and touchpoints
Requirements
What you’ll need- - BSc in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Marketing or a related field. Specialization in cosmetology is a plus.
- - MSc in Marketing or MBA will be an asset
- - Proven related working experience of at least 2 years, ideally in a FMCG within the cosmetics industry
- - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages are a plus (i.e. French or Spanish)
- - Excellent knowledge of MS Office Excel & Power point
- - Strong analytical skills & problem-solving mind set
- - Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
- - Self-motivation & adaptability
