Managed Services Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implementing and integrating new security solutions and migrating existing ones into the managed service
- Monitoring customer systems, diagnosing and resolving issues with a focus on the Sophos product portfolio
- Regular validation and installation of security and firmware updates, proactive health checks, and maintenance of documentation
- Preparing and presenting security reports, risk assessments, and recommended actions
- Supporting strategic consulting and conducting vulnerability analyses of customer systems
- Supporting short- and long-term projects in IT security and networking, such as firewall system migrations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Analytical or technical educational background, e.g., vocational training in IT and IT security
- Some professional experience in information technology and/or IT security
- Practical experience with the Sophos product portfolio is required
- Initial experience in the administration, operation, and implementation of IT security solutions and network infrastructures
- Strong analytical skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong team skills, good communication with varying stakeholders, and a desire for professional development
- Good written and spoken English for communication with international colleagues
