About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for acquiring and processing the data needed for AP audits
Attend and/or lead meetings to discuss data requirements and follow up with clients until requirements are met
Manage the data process from the first meeting until data is processed and ready for audit
Answer questions the audit team may have as the audit progresses
Collect all data elements needed for a successful audit
Map/join data tables together to create standard audit tables
Conduct discovery, removal, and correction of errors in data records through data cleansing activities
Use tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex datasets for diagnosis
Assess, deliver, maintain quality, accuracy, and tracking of production data fixes
Define business rules and data standards and best practices for data analysis and enrichment
Understand end-to-end data flows and identify data dependencies in support of delivery, release, and change management
Partner with IT security team to ensure solutions adhere to data principles and guidelines
Solve data-related issues and communicate resolutions with R&D and other associates

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of data quality, data analysis, and data management experience
3+ years in AP Audit industry and working with financial data is preferred
Experience in managing large data sets and mapping them accordingly
Experience in SQL client tool like SSMS, Dbeaver, etc.
Strong SQL skills
High level understanding of SAP AP tables and how they work together
Experience in building automated ETL/ELT pipelines
Understanding SQL databases and table relationships
Experience working in Excel and data viewing software such as Notepad and Ultra Edit
Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity, and precision both written and verbal
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Technical expertise in data, its standardization and transformation
Must understand data flows, data profiling, and statistical analysis
