About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The APS Treasury Analyst will be responsible for performance of various treasury matters, including operational treasury assistance to open and close bank accounts, management of p-card program and assistance with rating agencies, risk management / insurance and financial reporting on an as needed basis.
  • The APS Treasury Analyst will work to continue to develop the weekly cash flow forecast and lender reporting, collaborating with the Treasury Sr. Manager to drive process improvements.
  • Post cash activity weekly – working with regional teams as appropriate to ensure transactions are coded correctly
  • Prepare cash payments as needed
  • Bank relationship management: processing requests to open or close bank accounts, change signers on bank accounts and update entitlements
  • P-Card administration: process requests to open or close p-card programs, add and remove users from the p-card location programs
  • Assist with Accounts Payable activity, set-up new vendors, enters and code invoices, routes to proper approver and ensures payments are delivered on agreed upon terms
  • Assist local partners with 1099 preparation as needed
  • Assist with weekly cash flow reporting and input refinements with regional teams as needed including the review of sources and uses of cash to build out more robust direct and indirect cash flow reporting and forecasting tools that support efficient utilization of cash.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BBA in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • 1-3 years of treasury or accounts payable experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work collaboratively with internal accounting team members and cross-functional team members
  • Impeccable integrity and ethical standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and teamwork
  • Positive attitude, team player
  • Highly motivated, comfortable working independently
