About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires and newly acquired employees, including new-hire orientation and HR systems setup
  • Execute employee offboarding and termination processes, including final pay coordination, benefits communication, and agency reporting
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS (job titles, reporting relationships, FLSA status, Workers’ Comp codes)
  • Serve as a primary contact for employee benefits questions
  • Process benefit enrollments, life-event changes, and separations
  • Support leaders with employee relations matters, performance conversations, and engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate safety and compliance initiatives across the market
  • Track required safety and compliance training completion
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims, partnering with carriers and leaders to support return-to-work planning
  • Support the implementation and execution of Employee Services SOPs
  • Assist with audits and compliance reporting
  • Partner with HR leadership on job structure, compensation, and pay scale updates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience with exposure across multiple HR functional areas
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of an organization
  • High level of discretion, sound judgment, and attention to detail
  • Comfort working both in the field and in a professional office setting
  • Preferred HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting multi-site or field-based employees
  • Exposure to HRIS platforms and reporting
