About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate onboarding for new hires and newly acquired employees, including new-hire orientation and HR systems setup
- Execute employee offboarding and termination processes, including final pay coordination, benefits communication, and agency reporting
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS (job titles, reporting relationships, FLSA status, Workers’ Comp codes)
- Serve as a primary contact for employee benefits questions
- Process benefit enrollments, life-event changes, and separations
- Support leaders with employee relations matters, performance conversations, and engagement initiatives
- Coordinate safety and compliance initiatives across the market
- Track required safety and compliance training completion
- Manage workers’ compensation claims, partnering with carriers and leaders to support return-to-work planning
- Support the implementation and execution of Employee Services SOPs
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting
- Partner with HR leadership on job structure, compensation, and pay scale updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience with exposure across multiple HR functional areas
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of an organization
- High level of discretion, sound judgment, and attention to detail
- Comfort working both in the field and in a professional office setting
- Preferred HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
- Experience supporting multi-site or field-based employees
- Exposure to HRIS platforms and reporting
