About the role

  • Lead and develop a team of controllers and accounting managers
  • Spearhead the integration of newly acquired companies into accounting and financial systems
  • Oversee regional accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Ensure full compliance with U.S. GAAP and groupwide accounting policies
  • Ensure that financial reporting is highly automated, accurate, and audit-ready
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of accounting processes
  • Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Assist with annual budget planning and long-term financial projections
  • Manage and participate in special projects focused on improving accounting processes
  • Contribute to the development of a positive, collaborative team culture

Requirements

  • 10+ years of accounting experience
  • Active CPA license required
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and acquisition accounting principles
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a decentralized accounting team
  • Extensive experience with M&A, roll-ups, and acquisition accounting
  • Experience managing accounting operations across multiple locations
  • Experience with accounting ERP systems (Sage Intacct a plus)
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
