About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform and coordinate asset setup, maintenance, and reconciliation
Liaise with third-party brokers, custodians, and agents
Process agent notices and corporate actions
Enter and settle trades as required
Prepare and assist with reports for internal teams
Prepare daily reconciliation of cash transactions
Prepare daily reconciliation of Apex/client positions
Ensure aged breaks over 7 days are addressed and escalated
Process and reconcile data in various systems
Research discrepancies with agents and internal teams
Prepare and ensure reporting is issued within required timeframes
Prepare and review procedural documents
Prepare daily/monthly KPI and MIS reporting packs
Support business enhancements and development
Raise opportunities to improve operational efficiency
Perform other duties assigned by Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Accounting/Finance, or a relevant qualification
10+ years’ experience working in Loan Services
Extensive knowledge of Credit funds and reconciliation
Understanding or knowledge of Private Debt, Syndicated Loans, and Bi-Lateral Loans
Understanding of trade lifecycle
Knowledge and experience with settlements including Clearpar
Knowledge and understanding of securities and other financial instruments
Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with Solvas (CDO-Suite) preferred
Good working knowledge and experience with CLOs, CDOs, Credit Funds, and different types of Loans
Good organisation skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail
