About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end delivery of one or more complex programmes within agreed scope, time and cost parameters
Translate high-level objectives into delivery plans with milestones, dependencies, risks and ownership
Lead and coordinate project managers and workstream leads
Oversee programme status, risks, issues and dependencies, escalating appropriately
Provide transparent progress and delivery-confidence updates to senior stakeholders
Apply waterfall, agile or hybrid delivery methodologies pragmatically
Establish proportionate and effective programme governance
Manage programme-level resourcing with Practice and Portfolio Leads
Resolve delivery blockers across technology, operations, risk, compliance and business teams
Capture and apply lessons learned to improve future delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience delivering complex programmes spanning multiple projects and stakeholders
Strong project and programme delivery background in technology and/or business change environments
Experience working amid ambiguity, pace and competing priorities
Ability to maintain delivery grip under pressure and make pragmatic decisions with incomplete information
Strong senior stakeholder management, engagement, challenge and influencing skills
Understanding of waterfall and agile delivery approaches
Experience managing programme-level risks, dependencies and resourcing constraints
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Fluent in English, spoken and written
Experience in financial services, funds, large-scale onboarding, migration or integration programmes is nice to have
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, MS Project or Jira is nice to have
