About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform and coordinate a variety of administrative duties and tasks including Asset setup, Asset Maintenance and reconciliation, Liaising with 3rd party brokers/custodians/agents, Processing agent notices, Processing corporate actions, Entering and settling trades as required, Preparing and assisting with various reports required by internal teams
  • Prepare daily reconciliation of cash transactions
  • Prepare daily reconciliation of Apex/Client positions
  • Ensure aged breaks (over 7 days) are addressed and escalated
  • Process and reconcile data in various systems
  • Actively research discrepancies with various agents and internal teams
  • Prepare and ensure all Reporting is issued within the required timeframes
  • Prepare and assist with various reports required by internal teams
  • Prepare & Review procedural documents
  • Prepare daily/Monthly KPI/MIS reporting pack
  • Raise areas where operational efficiency can be improved
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance, or a relevant qualification
  • 9+ years’ experience working in Loan Services
  • Extensive knowledge of Credit funds, Reconciliation
  • Understanding or knowledge of various security types – Private Debt, Syndicated Loans, Bi-Lateral Loans
  • Understanding of trade lifecycle
  • Knowledge and experience with Aladdin
  • Knowledge and experience with settlements including Clearpar
  • Knowledge and understanding of securities and other financial instruments
  • Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
