About the role
- Serve as senior technical lead on cumulative projects which total $2 to $5 million annually
- Contribute to successful business development of new clients and projects at greater than $1 million annually
- Write and review technical reports and proposals
- Assist with project management activities
- Augment a busy established practice in groundwater/soil characterization and remediation
- Identify and develop successful client relationships and new business development opportunities; business development of $400,000 annual revenue
- Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product
- Actively develop your own career growth
Requirements
- BS in Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 15 years of experience with environmental/remediation services, including technical writing, technical oversight, project management, business development, and staff management
- Experience with oil & gas, manufacturing industries, utilities, landfills, and chlorinated solvent sites; Potentially Responsible Parties (PRP) groups and municipalities (preferred)
- Current California PE (required)
- Proven track record in business development and project management (required)
- Proven track record of mentoring and developing staff (preferred)
- Strong technical writing skills
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Deltek Vision (preferred)
