About the role
- Work as a stormwater and water resources subject matter expert and be responsible for technical project delivery and design, scheduling, budgeting, and client management.
- Supervise and direct individuals or teams of technical staff on complex projects and/or multiple smaller projects.
- Assist in the training and technical development of staff by holding training seminars, providing technical guidance during project execution, and bringing new technical developments in-house.
- Assist with strategic planning, training, proposals, and business development.
- Consult with other technical staff and Project Managers on technical challenges in the stormwater and water resources discipline while also providing independent technical reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline
- 8+ years of related experience in stormwater and water resources, including design and project management
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Massachusetts, or the ability to obtain same by reciprocity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients, staff, subconsultants and contractors
- Strong understanding of state and federal regulatory framework
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong desire to manage and mentor junior staff
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
