About the role

  • Support and oversee the complete payroll process for both blue-collar and white-collar employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payments together with the payroll team
  • Work closely with the Comp&Ben – Payroll Lead and collaborate with HR colleagues in Genk, the Poland office, the HR corporate team, and external partners to streamline processes and exchange best practices
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a fair and transparent job classification system for both blue-collar and white-collar employee groups
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll, compensation, and benefits (CSRD, Pay Transparency,…)
  • Provide clear support and guidance to employees on payroll, compensation, and benefits-related questions
  • Support or develop projects regard to Comp&Ben and Payroll

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar C&B or Payroll management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, compensation structures, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in Belgium
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and HR information systems (HRIS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process improvements
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
  • Fluency in English and Dutch; knowledge of French is an asset
  • Interest in and understanding of data processing
