About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the successful delivery of major pipeline and infrastructure construction projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality
  • Promote and embed a strong health, safety, and environmental culture, ensuring a focus on zero harm
  • Oversee and coordinate contractors, suppliers, and project teams to deliver on project milestones and performance targets
  • Provide timely, accurate reporting and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain effective stakeholder and community relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory and approval requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated capability in delivering linear infrastructure or pipeline construction projects from concept through to completion
  • Demonstrated capability in managing large construction contracts, ideally collaborative style contracts such as NEC4 Option C.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project approval pathways and working with teams who manage access and approvals.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage project risks, control costs, and deliver value-driven outcomes
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams and driving high-performance cultures
  • Highly developed stakeholder management capability, including engagement with contractors, regulators, and senior leadership
  • Advanced skills in project planning, scheduling, and risk management within dynamic and complex delivery environments
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
